Despite the fact that death news of “RIP Eddie Murphy” is trending on Twitter, and Facebook chatters are efficiently sharing the “news” that the comic actor, Eddie Murphy died in a snowboard accident in Switzerland, Eddie Murphy is just fine.
The false report originated — as most impulsive death notices do these days — on the hoax website Global Associated News. Murphy is only the latest of factually dozens of celebrity victims of similar hoaxes carried out via the same site.
Will people never learn?
